Narrowboats by definition are 6ft 10in wide, our boat, Grand Cru is 10ft wide which provides a higher level of comfort, not normally assocated with canal boat hire.

Romantic Weekend on Grand Cru Canal Boat

Just before Xmas my new partner and I had a romantic weekend on Grand Cru on the canal in Bath. Grand Cru is a new boat in excellent order. We arrived just as it was getting dark, the lights were all on and the wood burner was lit. It was warm and cosy. We had a great welcome from Peter Brown the owner. He did not leave till he was sure we had everything we wanted and understood everything about the boat. He lives near by so is always at hand if there is a problem but we didn't have any.! The boat is well equipped, immacuately clean and the beds were very comfortable. I highly reccommend a weekend on Grand Cru.
