  • 5 King Of Breakfasts

I love to eat breakfast out and as editor of WarminsterWeb.co.uk I've had the pleasure of trying out quite a few places in town - purely for the site's reviews section you understand (?) Jacqueline's is the best in town and Mark has just introduced a sausage recipe that he worked on with Robbin's butchers, using local ingredients, it's great. Yesterday I was there with family and Mark came out with a plate of chips for me to try, I'd reviewed his unfavourably on my site before, well they're great as well now, he really does try hard. The burgers are the best I've had as well. We've eaten there enough to know that any bad review is either unfair or they were caught on a bad day, but we've not had a bad day there.

  • 5 Dirty Dirty Dirty needs glasses ( and a new nose )

I have eaten at Jaquelines a number of times when on holiday from the states. I have never smelt chip fat, only delectable smells of baking and coffee. The meals I have had there have always been of the highest quaility, and served with a smile. I have also stayed at #28 B&B, which was clean and comfortable, and had a lovely breakfast. Carly B either needs glasses or she forgot where she had eaten and was thinking of a differant place. Mark, Jackie and their staff were warm and inviting, oh and by the way very polite and thanked me for my business. I am much looking forward to returning again next time I visit the UK

Jacquelines Bistro is the best place to eat in Warminster and for miles around. The diverse and interesting menu is devised by chef/owner Mark and is changed regularly. All food is locally sourced and much is organic. Jacqui is Marks partner and she and her staff give regulars and newcomers a warm welcome in its clean and tasteful surroundings . In terms of quality of food and experience it cannot be bettered and rightly deserves the many awards it has won.

  • 5 High Quality food, affordable prices

We are regular clients of jacquelines Bistro (as it is now called after some superb re styling and redecoration) The quality of the food is beyond reproach and prepared to the highest standards. The staff are friendly and helpful and offer a range of foods to cater for food allergies and other coditions as well as fine vegetarian options. A very inclusive restaurent which caters for all. A great place, and theyve one the accolades to prove it. As long time residents of Warminster we have tried virtually every eating place in Warminster and Jacquelines ranks easily in the top few.

  • 1 Dirty, dirty, dirty

We went into Jacqueline's one lunchtime where our first impression was the over-powering stench of chip fat hanging in the atmosphere. It's an interesting, historical premises but the decor is shabby. Our young waitress seemed sweet and eager to please but during our meal we witnessed her being given a dressing down by the boss-a VERY dirty looking chef. How unprofessional to tell staff off in front of customers. With filthy whites and a generally unkempt appearance, he really put us off our food. Throughout our meal, all we heard was him in the kitchen roaring and slamming dishes around. We received no thanks for our custom when we paid Chef at the till, he was surly and uncommunicative. A sales rep then made the mistake of coming in to see him which prompted Chef to then launch into HIM. Again in front of customers. A polite 'no thank you' would have been more civilised, surely? Chef was so intent on bellowing at the rep, we actually had great difficulty in leaving as the passage to the exit was blocked by Chef almost literally bullying and herding the rep off the premises. As for the food? One word-unforgettable. Never again. We will stick with our usual choice in Warminster....Rosies.
