• Avoid avoid avoid

  Lots of woffle about things of little value, whereas the key aspects eg drainage, roofing, were missed and we are now paying the consequences. If they had done a thorough inspection, they would have detected points that are now costing us £000s to put right. I would not use them again, and would absolutely not recommend them. Use them at your peril

  Used them on an old farmhouse we're buying. I never have high expectations of surveys, but this was genuinely different. The review was thorough, thoughful and full of suggestions and ideas for developments and maintenance. I never imagined I would enthuse about a house survey, but this was special! May be they really liked the property and this motivated them to go that extra mile? Not cheap, but in the end vfm.

• Great - I Wouldn't go anywhere else

  I have used these guys to do surveys on the last 4 properties that I have or haven't bought. They always give lots of relevant detail and get into the small corners and spaces that I would never even try to. Always a great price too - you never get this much detail from anyone else for the same price. I can't fault their service.

• Disappointing

  I used them to survey a flat. The report gave a lot of general detail about things to watch out for but little specific information about the flat I'd asked them to look at. Would not use again.
