Booked this place for a birthday party. Owner wanted 450 quid for a DJ and a buffet! We offered 300 and she said ok . Called a few times to see how things were going but 3 days before party my partner is in tears because the owner says she hasn't got a DJ but will play a few CD's. We hire a DJ but the owner says we can't use her speakers so we hire a DJ & all the equipment. Friends set up the DJ gear before the party. While there they ordered two drinks of water. The barman said on the house, the owner said they had to pay! We get served what looks like some leftovers from lunch. She actually wanted us to remove all the DJ gear straight after the party, until we pointed out that everyone had been drinking from her bar and couldn't drive. Collected the gear next morning and she had used OUR flowers to decorate her tables! If you want a basic snack in town, ok. But for a celebration of any sort, stay well away from this place.
